About Want To Care

Want To Care is where adults come to have hotter sex, harder orgasms and closer relationships.

Our story

We wrote what we wished we had.

Most of us learned about sex from whispers, bad films and one awkward lesson at school. Later, the advice we found was either clinical and cold, or crude and unhelpful.

Want To Care is our answer to that gap. It's a friendly, straight talking place to learn about feeling good, talking to each other and getting closer, for couples and for anyone finding things out on their own.

We believe good sex isn't a talent some people are born with. It's something you learn, and it's far easier to learn when nobody makes you feel foolish for asking.

What we believe

The ideas behind everything we publish.

  • No shame

Wondering about sex is normal. We answer every question plainly and never make you feel bad for asking.

  • Consent first

Everything we write starts from a clear, willing yes from everyone involved.

  • Feeling good matters

Enjoying sex isn't a luxury. It's part of being healthy, close and sure of yourself.

  • Talking helps

Most problems in bed get easier once someone finds the words. We help you find them.

How we work

How an article gets written.

Every article on the site goes through the same careful process.

  1. 01 We start with a real question Every article begins with something readers actually ask, not with what is easiest to write about.
  2. 02 We read before we write We look at current research and what sexual health organisations advise, and we say so when the evidence is thin.
  3. 03 We write in plain words No jargon, no euphemisms and no lecturing. If a sentence would embarrass a friend, we rewrite it.
  4. 04 We check and update Each article is checked against its sources before it is published, and corrected when readers or new findings show we got something wrong.
